The days following up to Meet One were worrisome. We put in all our practice, taking hours out of our days to come and work on the robot. Was it worth it? Absolutely.
Meet One was held on 12/2. Our team has most definitely improved since PowerPlay; not only in the technological fields, but also in working attitude. Despite some of the challenges we had to overcome, we kept going. The first round was particularly hard because we were placed on the side we’ve not practiced on, but we eventually found our rhythm. On our third game, we managed to reach the highest score of all meet 1 matches. The other teams were also a great help. We learned how diverse robots could be, even if they are reaching towards the same goal.
We hope to improve even more by Meet Two, and gain more connections and experiences.
