We were the champions of Southern California and advanced to the world championships as the 44690 SF Hackers for First LEGO League (FLL). We scored 640 points in the Cargo Connect season at the world championship competition in Houston, Texas, placing us seventh in the world and second in the United States out of the 108 teams. Qualcomm has supported us with grants for two years. We won in 2021 and are the only team representing SoCal in the FLL World Championship in April, 2022.
After three years, we graduated from FLL. To continue our FIRST journey, we formed an First Tech Challenge (FTC) team. Our team is located in San Marino, California, and consists of students from Temple City and San Marino. Our team participates in the FTC sponsored by FIRST Inspires. We are called the team 21380, Beyond Robotics in the competition, and participate in the surrounding area of California.
