About

FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) 21380 Beyond Robotics was founded in July 2022 by students from all over the San Gabriel Valley. The team members come from diverse backgrounds, and each bring their own unique skills to the table. We dedicate to build a strong foundation of teamwork and are committed to helping each other succeed. We have also been working hard to develop our engineering and programming skills so that we can build amazing robots for the FTC seasons. As an FTC team, we are required to design and build a robot that is capable of autonomously and independently completing various game tasks. The game changes yearly, so our team must be creative in designing a new robot each season. Beyond the building and programming of the robots, we also need to fundraise and manage the team’s finances.

History

Our team emerged from the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) 44690 SF Hackers, which was founded in 2019 by a group of elementary and middle school students who spend hours every week learning, designing, and building robots with LEGOs.

Our FLL team was the champion of Southern California and advanced to the world championships. We scored 640 points in the 2021 – 2022 Cargo Connect season at the world championship competition in Houston, Texas.
